Nick & Birdie started The Bistro Box, a mobile food business in January 2010.  They travelled all over New England & Florida setting up at Art, Antique, Dog, Craft and Music Shows. After 4 crazy years, they spotted an opportunity to settle down closer to home.

  Both graduates of the Culinary Institute of America in the Hudson Valley, Nick's & Birdie's resume vary greatly from high end restaurants to catering and concession. Before the two crossed paths, their culinary talents took them from Nantucket to the Caribbean and places in between.  They also gained experience working for great local establishments right here in the Berkshires. 

  They opened their roadside eatery in April 2014, serving up a fun mix of classic shack favorites & café fare.  The Bistro Box is a lively, seasonal 'drive in style' stop that's great for families with children, local workers on the go, and tourists up for the weekend.  They are focusing on fresh, quality ingredients served in a spacious, outdoor setting.

This past season they celebrated 10 years in Great Barrington at The Box!
